Our Story

It all started over 40 years ago in Alvin, Texas when Preston Mealer had a dream of building custom homes. As the business began to grow Nycol married into the family, and was introduced to the business. She discovered her entrepreneurial spirit with a passion for design as she watched the custom home process. She was so inspired to see what it truly meant to build a home. In 2005 she started The Interior Touch, an interior design company that has merged into the multifaceted Mealer Homes serving the greater Houston area. She began with a vision to serve, and that priority has grown the business even further into real estate and remodels.
